There's always been something about the Salton Sea.
Why do I have a connection to it?
The Salton Sea smells, is deserted, it's hot, and basically, it's a graveyard for fish and pelicans.
But it's also breathtakingly interesting.
Curiosity drives me to stop at this one place to see if that chair is still there.
I stop to see what graffiti has been freshly painted.
I've photographed this exact spot several times, but the photos and the experience is never the same.
